You make every investment decision on your own responsibility. The operator accepts no liability for decisions made based on the data shown in PortfoLeo.

Risk

Trading cryptocurrencies, stocks, and other financial instruments carries significant risk and can result in the total loss of the capital invested. Past performance is not an indicator of future results.

Data accuracy

Prices, holdings, and calculations (including profit/loss and tax estimates) may be incorrect, delayed, or incomplete. They are provided without warranty. Tax calculations are estimates and do not replace professional tax advice — confirmation by a qualified tax advisor or the relevant authority always takes precedence.

AI feature

The optional AI analysis generates automated text that may be incorrect. It is explicitly not financial or tax advice. If you enable the AI, your question and selected position data are sent to the AI provider (Anthropic) — see Privacy.

Availability

There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability. The software is provided "as is," without warranty.

Privacy Policy

Who is responsible?

The operator of this instance is responsible for data processing: Qubix AG, Suhrgasse 13, 5036 Oberentfelden, Switzerland. Contact: hello@portfoleo.app.

What data is processed?

• Account data: username and a hashed password (plaintext passwords are never stored).
• Portfolio data: your positions, transactions, targets, and notes. This lives in a separate database per user — an isolated Postgres schema on the server in Germany for hosted operation, or a local, SQLCipher-encrypted file on your own machine in the self-hosted variant.
• Technical data: a session cookie for login. Server logs may contain IP address and timestamp (operations/security).

External services

• Price data is fetched from market data providers (e.g. exchange/crypto APIs). No personal portfolio data is transmitted in the process.
• AI analysis (optional, OFF by default): Only when you actively use it are your question and selected position data sent to Anthropic (the AI provider). If unused, none of it ever leaves the server.
• TradingView integration (optional): runs locally on your machine; no data is shared with third parties.

No sharing / no sale

Your portfolio data is never sold and never shared for advertising purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, as well as to data portability. A message to the operator is enough to delete your account. You can generate an export of your data (e.g. tax CSV) yourself in the app at any time.

Retention period

Your data stays stored for as long as your account exists. It is removed after deletion.

Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms apply to the use of PortfoLeo by registered users, regardless of the chosen tier (Free or Pro). The operator is the person/entity named under Imprint, based in Switzerland.

2. Service description

PortfoLeo is a tool for managing and visualizing your own portfolio (positions, prices, metrics, optional AI analysis). It is not a financial service, not a broker, and not investment advice — the Disclaimer above governs and applies here unchanged.

3. Market data & AI-generated content

Prices and other market data come from third-party providers (e.g. exchange/crypto APIs) and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect; they are provided without warranty. AI-generated content (e.g. automated theses, analyses, summaries) is machine-generated, may likewise contain errors, and explicitly does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice — the Disclaimer above applies here unchanged as well.

4. Registration & account

Using the service requires an account (email + password, optionally a passkey). You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your credentials secure.

5. Tiers, pricing & payment

PortfoLeo offers a free tier (Free) and an extended tier (Pro). Feature scope and pricing are set out on the current pricing page in the app. Once activated, the Pro tier is billed monthly through the payment provider Stripe and can be cancelled monthly; once the paid period ends, the account automatically reverts to Free unless renewed. A payment obligation only arises once you explicitly agree to the price shown at the time (order/subscription flow).

6. Term & termination

You can cancel your account and any active Pro subscription at any time, either in the app or via the payment provider (see Privacy for account deletion) — a message to the operator is enough if a feature isn't directly available yet. The operator may terminate an account in case of abuse, or discontinue the service entirely, with reasonable advance notice.

7. Data, privacy & backups

Where and how your data is stored and processed is described conclusively in the Privacy Policy above — these Terms deliberately do not duplicate that, to avoid risking contradictory statements. Server-side backups exist for your account, but they do not replace your own backups. You can generate a full export of your data in the app at any time and remain co-responsible for backing up important data yourself. You can trigger deletion of your account, including all personal data (GDPR-compliant), at any time.

8. Availability

PortfoLeo is operated on a best-effort basis. There is no entitlement to any particular availability or response time (no SLA), in either the Free or the Pro tier. Maintenance windows and temporary interruptions may occur.

9. Liability

For investment decisions and the accuracy of market and AI-generated data, the Disclaimer above applies unchanged. Beyond that, the operator is only liable for intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law — in particular not for data loss resulting from your own failure to keep backups.

10. Changes to these Terms

The operator may adjust these Terms when functionality, pricing, or the underlying legal framework changes. Material changes will be announced in the app in advance; continuing to use PortfoLeo afterward constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel your account at any time before the change takes effect.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction is the operator's registered seat as stated in the Imprint.
